What this is
Airbag is a way to buy pump.fun coins with optional cover. If you insure a buy and the coin's dev sells during your cover, you get 50% of your buy back in SOL. The docs explain the rules; they are part of these terms.
Coins trade on pump.fun and PumpSwap under their own terms. Airbag isn't affiliated with pump.fun.
Your wallet
Airbag never holds your keys or your coins. Every buy and sell is a transaction your own wallet signs. Signing in only proves you own the wallet; it can't move anything.
Cover
- What triggers it. The coin's creator wallet holds at least 20% fewer tokens than it did at your buy, at any moment during your cover. Selling and moving tokens out both count.
- What it pays. 50% of the SOL your insured buy spent, as read from the chain, sent to the wallet that made the buy.
- What it costs. The cover price shown before you sign. It isn't refunded, whether or not the dev sells.
- Who can't be covered. The creator's own wallet; wallets that got SOL from the creator, from the creator's funder, or from a wallet the creator funded; coins whose creator holds less than 1% of the supply; and coins whose creator already sold during someone's cover, with the creator's other coins.
- Limits. One open cover per wallet per coin; insured buys from 0.01 to 2 SOL; at most 10 SOL of open cover on one coin and 10 SOL across one creator's coins. New cover can be full for a while; buying without cover still works.
- Only the chain counts. Cover starts once your transaction is confirmed and the server has checked it on chain. A buy that fails, or a transaction without the cover price in it, has no cover.
Payouts
Payouts are sent from the insurance pool in the order claims are made.

Risk
Memecoins are very risky and can lose all their value. Cover only answers one thing, the dev selling inside your window, and only for half your buy. It doesn't protect the price.

Changes and pauses
Airbag can pause new cover, change the prices and limits for new cover, or update these terms at any time. Cover you already bought keeps the terms it was bought under.
